Our MissionRon Paul National Capital Region will organize and coordinate the grassroots activities in the DC area with the purpose of electing Ron Paul President of the U.S. Our growing membership is personally dedicated to contributing their best efforts and unique skills to achieve success for the campaign. We are inspired and energized by Ron Paul's message of freedom, our objectives are action-oriented, and we believe the revolution should be fun!
ElectioneeringThis is the most important aspect of any campaign. If your supported candidate isn't even on the ballot, all else is for not. Our Electioneering staff works tirelessly on action items needed to get Dr. Paul on each ballot! Currently, petition signatures are most important. We also work to educate citizens in Robert's Rule of Order and GOP Convention Delegate procedures. The District and both States' primaries are on the same day, Super Tuesday. February 12th 2008! FundraisingWith the money we raise, we plan to purchase television, radio and newspaper ads. We intend to occupy booths all over the region and buy Ron Paul merchandise with the intent to distribute to local supporters quicker and to raise awareness. We intend to use chip-ins, events and personal donations to raise the funds needed to finance the local grassroot activities. We have a board consisting of 5 geographically diverse super supporters that will make sure our funds are distributed evenly and with the highest possible impact. Once our electioneering immediate needs are met, we will offer many more fundraisers, help you with your fundraiser, and have an online donation page! Contact Stephen for more info! AwarenessRon Paul National Capital Region is focused on getting the word out about Dr. Ron Paul. We work closely with all local meetup, Republican and libertarian groups to share Dr. Paul's message of freedom. We intend to unite these groups to raise awareness. We in the DC area offer unique geographical benifits that we intend to exploit. Working with other groups of similar interest around the world, we can organize rallies right in the belly of the beast!
